Andrea Smith speaks out about BoA's presenting partnership at 2021 Augusta National Women's Amateur

Andrea Smith, Bank of America's Chief Administrative Officer speaks out about the company's presenting partnership at the 2021 Augusta National Women's Amateur. The event was canceled last year due to the pandemic. "Our history is one of advancing women's economic opportunity and empowerment and that's exactly what we saw in the opportunity with the Augusta National Women's Amateur," she told Forbes.com. "Over 50% of our global workforce is made up of women and over a third of our senior management team are women and if you look at our board it's equally diverse. We saw this as a way to continue our commitment to championing women and providing more pathways and more visibility for women's progress in all avenues," said Andrea, who also sits on the PGA of America board.

he National Mother's Day Committee will honor Andrea Smith at its 43rd Annual Outstanding Mother Awards virtual ceremony on May 6, 2021, at 7 p.m., EST. She is among eight women from the worlds of entertainment, retail, wellness, medicine and finance being honored, including actresses Halle Berry and Kate Hudson, Reality TV Star Kris Jenner, Dr. Dara Kass, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at, Columbia University Medical Center and WW International Chief Brand Officer Gail Tifford. This year's theme, "What a Difference a Mom Makes," will highlight the tremendous positive impact moms are making during these extraordinary times and celebrate each honoree's success in navigating the responsibilities of motherhood and achievement in public life.
